Signpost Exploration

These abstract designs originated in details of a waning signpost in Dinorwig Quarry in North Wales. I liked the cracked and broken pieces (but sadly didn't take a record picture of the whole thing!). From those individual shots I created the panel shown at the bottom of the page. I cropped the panel to a square and applied distorted Curves to each one and this created the variety of colours and tones. All this was done in Lightroom.
